Bids are due July 18, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Bids may be faxed, emailed, or hand-delivered. Indian preference will be given to bidders who provide proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO). The successful bidder must comply with tribal rules and regulations and TERO requirements. The project must be completed within 10 working days. Liquidated damages will be charged for extensions. The
contractor must provide insurance certificates, special trade licenses, and other required documentation within three days of notification of award. Payment will be made in two payments. Davis-Bacon wage rate applies. The
contractor/subcontractor agrees to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) instructions to bidders for contracts, representations, certifications, and other statements of bidders, and general contract conditions for small construction development contracts. Buy American provisions apply to iron, steel, and manufactured goods used in the project. Bidders can visit the job site. The award will be subject to availability of funds. The
contractor must have all fees and paperwork submitted to TERO for a contract purchase order to be considered fully executed. The
contractor must warranty his work against faulty materials or workmanship for a period of one year. Any person, firm, or other
party to whom a subcontract is proposed must be approved by the HACN, and the TERO office must be consulted prior to any subcontractor being on site. The
contractor must submit a non-collusive affidavit. A drug-free and tobacco-free workplace policy applies.
