Storage Container Government Bids & RFPs

This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for market research conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources for the spares procurement of specialized shipping and storage containers. Potential sources must be capable of new manufacture, including component parts, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead time parts procurement, and shipping serviceable assets may also be required. The government is interested in all business types, including large and small businesses. Interested vendors must select Add me to interested vendors to be considered. There is no solicitation available at this time, and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The government may consider breaking the requirement out by airframe. This is not a request for proposal or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist. No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The government will use the gathered information to determine the best acquisition strategy. Potential sources wishing to be qualified must complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the qualification requirements. Engineering Data Lists (EDL) and Qualification Requirements (QR) are attached. Government-provided data is annotated on the EDL; absence of an EDL indicates the government cannot provide technical data. Requests for engineering drawings should be submitted via email to tinker engineering drawings public sales desk. Questions regarding the Tinker SAR process should be submitted to the AFSC Small Business Office. The actual SAR package submission must be submitted electronically through DOD SAFE. Interested parties are requested to respond by 5/29/26 with their business information, including company name, address, point of contact, CAGE code, phone number, email address, web page URL, size of business, NAICS code, and ownership details. Oral submissions are not acceptable.

This is a pre-solicitation notice of the government's intent to issue a solicitation for ISO shipping containers (20' x 8' x 8' 6). The National Stock Number is **** 01 463 ****, and the quantity required is 100. The containers are for CONUS delivery. This is not a request for quote. The full government requirement will be outlined in the solicitation when published on DIBBS. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation.

This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. It is a total small business set aside. The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) requires secure, continuously accessible storage services for government-owned, mission-essential shipping containers in Guam. The facility must accommodate a minimum of thirty 30-foot ISO shipping containers, unstacked. Security requirements include a perimeter fence, electronic access gate, and continuous 24/7 video surveillance. The contractor must implement an integrated pest management plan to mitigate the presence of brown tree snakes. The period of performance includes a 12-month base year and four 12-month option years. Quotes must be received no later than May 28, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific. Offers will be evaluated based on technical acceptability, period of performance dates, salient characteristics, price (Lowest Price Technically Acceptable - LPTA), and past performance. Inspection and acceptance will be at the destination.
