Sealed bid for security and crowd management services for Middle Tennessee State University's Murphy Center and athletic events. Bids are due August 13, 2026, by 3:00 PM CT. The university is governed by the Tennessee Prompt Pay Act of ****, allowing 45 days for payment. It is common practice to pay within thirty days from receipt of an undisputed invoice. A prompt payment discount will be considered in the award process when given for 30 days (e. g. , 1% 15 days, net 30 days).
An award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder considering ability to perform, conformity to specifications, pricing, pricing evaluation scenario, required submittals, company history and references, contractor's qualifications and experience, proof of insurance, and willingness to accept a university purchase order.
Bidder should have at least five years of continuous experience in providing event security and crowd management services for events comparable to those held in Floyd Stadium and Murphy Center. Bidder should be capable of providing all services required by the university and should not subcontract any part. Bidder should provide three references from venues comparable to Floyd Stadium and Murphy Center.
Any responsive and responsible proposer that has submitted a compliant bid has seven days after bid closing to request a bid tabulation.
Failure to complete the bid form or comply otherwise with the bid requirements and specifications may be cause for rejection of bid. Failure to provide requested documents upon request will cause your bid to be considered nonresponsive. Failure to sign the proposal will result in the disqualification of your entire ITB proposal.
