Sealed paper bids will be received by the village administrator until 11:00 a. m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The contractor shall provide any warranties associated with materials or workmanship, as applicable.

The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.

Each bidder shall have a minimum of 5 years municipal experience in the field scope of work being specified herein. The village may make investigations to determine qualifications.

Fraudulent statements shall cause rejection of bids and forfeiture of the related bid security. Failure to execute a contract after award may result in forfeiture of bid security.

Contractors are to visit the site and familiarize themselves. Failure to visit the site will not be a basis for change orders.

Bids will not be accepted from firms convicted of bid-rigging or related criminal charges. Refusal to testify before a grand jury concerning the contract may lead to disqualification for 5 years.

Proposed experience requirements include five years of experience performing litter removal services on limited-access highways, five years of experience administering sponsorship programs of similar size and scope, and two years of experience performing volunteer intake for adopt a highway programs of similar size and scope.

CDOT reserves the right to deny an application if the sponsoring company does not meet the eligibility requirements, has submitted false statements, practiced or attempted to practice any fraud or deception in the application, or is or has been involved in or supports violent behavior or other offensive activities.
