This is an informal bid for the WPCP Primary Clarifiers Trough Recoating Project for the Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant. Bids will be received until 4:00 PM EST on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2026. All inquiries must be directed in writing to Terra Vuncannon, Purchasing Manager, by Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project involves recoating weir troughs on 3 primary clarifiers. The contractor must have a North Carolina General Contractors License, AMPP Protective Coatings Specialist PCS or equivalent certification, and have completed at least five similar projects. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day will apply for delays. A 12-month warranty is required. Bidders must submit a signed bid form, notarized non-collusion affidavit, e-Verify affidavit, and current W9 form. The bid opening will not be public.
