RFB No. 26- **** Blast Abrasive- The Brazos River Authority ( BRA) will be accepting sealed bids from contractors to provide pricing for blast abrasive to blast the gate leafs, ASTM 572 Grade 50 Carbon Steel. Each gate has approximately 10, 000 square feet that require abrasive blasting. There are two gate leafs for each of the 9 spillway gates. Each leaf is approximately 73 feet wide and 20 feet long. The blast abrasive will be received in approximately 24 ton bulk loads and blown into the storage hopper.
