This is an advertisement for bids for the 2026 TSPLOST project in the City of Forsyth, Georgia. The work involves the construction of 4. 88 miles of patching, leveling, and resurfacing, including specific quantities of leveling and asphalt, striping, traffic control, and necessary appurtenances. All work must be completed within 210 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. Bid proposal forms, contract documents, plans, and specifications can be obtained from Hofstadter and Associates, Inc. upon a deposit of **** per set, with no refund for returned documents. Bids must be submitted sealed to the City of Forsyth City Hall by July 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM local time, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Forsyth, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. No bids shall be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. The City of Forsyth reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to disregard informalities or irregularities.

The deadline to submit questions to the engineer shall be at 5: 00 p. m. on january 29, 2026. A prebid conference will be held at 11: 00 a. m. local time on at the forsyth, gacity hall.
