This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Velys robotic spine system and components for the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. The system is required to enhance precision and efficiency in spinal navigation surgeries. Key features include anatomical identification, implant placement assistance, freehand and robotic-assisted guidance modes, compatibility with existing spine systems, and image agnosticism. The delivery requirement is to deliver all line items specified under date to VAMC Pittsburgh, Attn: Warehouse, University Drive C, Room ****, Pittsburgh, PA ****, within 60 days ARO (After Receipt of Order).
The bid notice states that payment will be made by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and that invoices shall be submitted upon acceptance and fully operational.
The contractor will provide a one (1) year warranty covering equipment. This one (1) year warranty period will commence upon successful installation and validation of the Velys robotic spine system.
The government will evaluate quotations using a comparative evaluation process where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the government. The evaluation will consider technical or quality, past performance, veterans involvement, and price.
To receive evaluation credit for veterans involvement, an offeror must be registered and verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at the time of quotation submission and at the time of award, and must meet federal small business size standards for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this solicitation.
Protests must be served on the contracting officer by obtaining written and dated acknowledgment of receipt from ***@***. *. * copy of any protest must be received in the designated office within one day of filing a protest with the GAO.
