The contract completion is required within 730 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. The contract may be extended for one additional two-year term by mutual consent.

The primary requirement is that all included equipment shall be maintained in peak operating condition and that all preventative maintenance provisions are to be done to ensure maximum performance throughout the contract term.
The county reserves the right to award the contract to the bidder whose proposal, after proper and thorough analysis by the county, will serve the best interests of the county.
Each bidder shall submit with his proposal, a detailed summary, in typed form, of his past and present experience including job references, present qualifications, and maintenance service supervisory and labor staff, and financial status.
Failure of the successful bidder to execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds and insurance certificates within forty-five days after the opening of bids shall result in forfeiture of the bid security.
Bidders are invited to attend a general meeting on July 29 at 9:00 a. m. Bidders may also schedule a site visit by contacting specific county personnel listed for each plant or pump station.
No bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five days after the date of the bid opening.
Failure to submit the entire bid documents with its bid submission, or failure to submit the full set of designated proposal pages with the bid bond and consent of surety attached to the outside of the sealed bid, may cause the bid to be rejected.
