Compensation will be paid prorata based on the percentage or task of work completed. Fixed-price contracts are possible, and professional fees will not exceed recommended practices and fees published by applicable professional associations. the engineer or architect shall be paid prorata based on the percentage, or by task of work completed.

The selection criteria include company personnel experience and capacity (40 points), project list with references (15 points), project understanding and approach (15 points), ability to meet schedules and deadlines (15 points), and experience with City of Laredo projects (15 points).

Firms must be registered or licensed with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers or Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. The prime provider must perform at least 30 percent of the contracted work with its own workforce. the prime firm is registered or licensed with the texas board of professional engineers or texas board of architectural examiners as applicable.

The county of Westchester remits vendor payments via an electronic funds transfer EFT program known as Vendordirect. Any successful bidder that will not accept payment in that method will be considered nonresponsive to our solicitation and their bid may be rejected.

The university has established a total budget of $80,000 for this project, inclusive of all equipment, delivery, installation, fitness technology training, responsible recycling of old equipment, extended warranty coverage, and an ongoing repair partnership.
