The City of McDonough is seeking design-build services for the renovation of its future City Hall. The project will be delivered in phases, with Phase I focusing on the second floor, Phase II on the third floor, and Phase III on the first floor, including the Mayor and Council Chambers. Payments shall be made in accordance with the terms of the executed agreement and shall be contingent upon satisfactory performance of the work, submission of required documentation, and acceptance by the city.
The design-build team warrants that all professional services, materials, equipment, and construction performed shall conform to the requirements of the contract documents and shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials. A minimum one-year warranty is required, commencing upon final acceptance of the applicable phase of the project.
Proposals will be evaluated using a qualifications-based, best-value selection process, considering technical qualifications, demonstrated experience, project understanding, cost, and other factors.
Proposers must be qualified firms with experience in design-build services for municipal facilities, including architectural and engineering design, construction management, and occupied renovations.
A mandatory pre-proposal site visit will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. at 235 Keys Ferry Court, McDonough, GA ****.
Proposals received after the stated deadline will be considered nonresponsive and will not be opened or evaluated. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
