Dental Accreditation Government Bids & RFPs

Interested firms will be evaluated during the prequalification phase to determine whether they meet the minimum requirements. The selected vendor will provide professional, consistent and reliable service. The procurement is for a licensed dentist with significant general practice experience and a minimum of five years in correctional dentistry.

The contract period is from June 15, 2026, to September 30, 2026. The survey is to be completed upon completion of the contract period.

Payment will be made upon completion of services, as indicated by upon completion for invoices. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) or third party.

The contractor warrants that the items delivered under this contract are merchantable and fit for use for the particular purpose described in the contract.

Consultants must possess knowledge of TJC standards, ascellon standards, and VHA regulations, with a minimum of three years of surveying experience and appropriate qualifications of a surveyor and consultant, including life safety specialist experience.

A one-day survey will be conducted. The facility shall provide access to staff members involved in the survey process. The surveyor will schedule a kickoff meeting and an exit conference.

The VA reserves the right to refuse any surveyor access to VA property for any or no reason. Conflict of interest may result in the contractor supplying another qualified candidate at their full cost.

Payment to the provider shall be made in arrears on an equal monthly basis.

The provider represents and warrants that it is fully qualified to perform the services and will perform the services in a timely, accurate, and competent manner in accordance with the professional standards of the industry and the requirements of the contract.

The provider shall provide proof of licenses and/or certificates for all professional staff prior to the commencement of the contract term.

If the provider fails to maintain ACA or NCCHC accreditation, they agree to pay the county $100,000. Penalties also apply for failure to submit staffing reports and schedules on time.

The county has the right to reject the employment by the provider of any person or firm, and to require the removal of any person or firm employed or engaged by the provider in connection with the services, when the county deems such action to be in its best interest.

The period of performance includes a base award date of 04/30/2027 and four subsequent one-year option periods. Specific delivery deadlines for services will be arranged with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

The government will award a contract to the responsible quoter whose quote represents best value to the government, considering the evaluation factors of experience, past performance, technical acceptability, and price. The government will use a comparative evaluation process to assess quotes. Technical acceptability is a pass/fail factor. Experience, past performance, and price are of equal importance in the government's best value tradeoff decision.

Offerors must be Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). They must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience performing water sampling and testing services of similar scope, size, and complexity. The laboratory must have environmental microbiology accreditation by a nationally recognized accrediting body and certification from the CDC Environmental Legionella Isolation Techniques Evaluation (ELITE) program. Field service technicians must be trained and qualified.

Violations of VA regulations may result in citation answerable in the United States federal district court. Protests must be served on the contracting officer within one day of filing a protest with the GAO.
