Bids are accepted from experienced and qualified contractors.

Responses will be received until 3:00 p. m. , MST, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, electronically through the rocky mountain epurchasing system.

The successful vendor shall submit an invoice to the county's project manager. The periodic invoices shall not exceed thirty calendar days from the delivery of the items.

The evaluation committee will score responses based on the following criteria listed in order of importance: 1. product specifications and compatibility requirements 30: 2. vendor provides a catalog outlining each requested item, including specifications. 3. catalog must indicate brand name and model of equipment being offered. 4. provide any compatibility requirements. 5. availability and warehouse location 20: 6. provide details of the warehouse location and capacity. 7. provide details of product availability, including typical average stock amount and any back ordering process. 1. estimated time of arrival after receipt of order 30: 1. provide details on delivery timeframe of products offered included average and expected delivery schedules for deliveries made to **** akers dr andor the general colorado springs area. 2. provide details of the ordering process and any applicable timelines. price will be evaluated after the technical evaluations and scores will contribute to the overall ranking.

The vendor must have a minimum of three 3 years of experience providing traffic control and work zone safety products comparable in scope and volume to the materials requested in this solicitation.

If the awarded contract is canceled, it is hereby agreed and understood that the county has the authority to purchase the goods elsewhere and to charge the vendor with any re procurement costs.

The submitter certifies that it has examined the location of the proposed work and is familiar with the specifications and all contract documents related thereto, and the local conditions at the place where the work may be performed.

The deadline for submitting questions is October 6, 2026 @2: 00 p. m.

Failure to respond in the required format or failure to provide required information may deem your submittal nonresponsive.

Delivery must be made between November 16, 2026, and November 15, 2027, with staggered orders and deliveries throughout the year are a must.

Payment will be made by cameron county on original invoices that clearly itemize the goods and or services provided as to quantity, part number, description, price, applicable discount if any, labor charges showing time differential, if applicable and if previously agreed to, and delivery to internal locations and floor, installation, and setup costs, if applicable and if previously agreed to.

The contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidders meeting the specifications and having the lowest possible total extended price of the base bid unit cost, consistent with the quality needed for effective use.

Each firm responding to this solicitation shall be required to submit with their proposal information regarding minority women business and hub business participation in this project.

Samples, when requested, must be furnished free of expense to the county.

All questions regarding this bid should also be submitted no later than the stated date and time on bid cover page.

Failure to sign or initial each bidproposal page will disqualify the bidproposal offer.
