Passaic Valley Water Commission is seeking proposals for professional legal services related to bankruptcy, delinquencies, and related matters. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on August 25, 2026. Invoices will be paid as soon as the commission can reasonably process them in the normal course of business, barring any system failures or staffing shortages. Invoices are to be submitted monthly after completion of services.
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience and reputation, knowledge of the subject matter, availability, qualifications and experience of personnel, and other factors deemed in the best interest of the commission. The weighted criteria include: overall background, qualifications, skills, and experience (30%); specialized relevant experience (40%); prior experience with the firm and familiarity with PVWC (5%); quality of the proposal and completeness of forms (15%); and other factors (10%).
Responders must demonstrate qualifications and experience to perform the required assignments. This includes the background, qualifications, skills, and experience of the firm and its staff, as well as specialized relevant experience and familiarity with PVWC's work.
Failure to follow instructions, modify standardized forms, or comply with requirements such as business registration, conflict of interest certification, noncollusion affidavit, and affirmative action compliance may result in rejection of the submission.
