Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on July 9, 2026. It is recommended that proposals be submitted in advance, at least one day prior to the specified date and time to allow for a timely receipt.

Invoices shall include specific details of service performed and must be accompanied by certified payroll for all labor charges. Payments must not be subject to any late charges. Sales tax will not be collected from Dutchess County.

The awarded vendor will guarantee workmanship and material for a period of one year from the date of acceptance by the facility.

The award of the contract will be made to the lowest priced responsible bidder which has complied with the specifications.

Vendors shall have been in business performing the work for a minimum of three years and must provide trained personnel skilled in the services outlined.

Failing to submit certified payroll records on time may result in penalties of up to $100 per day following a 14-day grace period.

Samples may be requested by the county for the purpose of product evaluation. It is understood that samples will be provided at no charge to the county by the vendor.

Any protest to the division of central services consideration of any bid must be submitted in writing and received by the director of central services no later than five calendar days after the bid award.

Failure to indicate the outside of the sealed bid and mailing envelope with required information may result in rejection of the bid as being unresponsive.

Bids may be submitted as instructed until 10:00 am, on 7/9/2026.

The township of Thornbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any information in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the township.

Thornbury township, the owner, invites qualified general contractors to bid on a general contract guaranteed maximum price, including all mechanical and electrical work.

The building will be open for a contractors walkthrough during the weeks of 6/22 and 6/29 any time between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.

The last day for contractors to submit questions to the design team is 07/08/2026 @10:00 am.

Installation to be complete by October 17, 2026.

Fees shall be negotiated with the successful contractor.

An award recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for review and approval.

The city is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, and install a turnkey HVAC system modification.
