The Town of Selma, NC is seeking qualifications for the Selma Nature Preserve Project, which includes planning, feasibility, design, engineering, and partial construction. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Town Hall by 2:00 PM prevailing time on July 1st, 2026. A bid guarantee is required, and upon award, performance, maintenance, and payment bonds, along with insurance certificates, must be filed. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose qualifications are in the best interest of the town. Site inspection and pre-bid meetings may be scheduled via email. Questions must be submitted by email at least four business days prior to the bid opening date to be answered. Only questions answered by written addenda will be binding.
All proposals must be in the hands of Phillip McDaniel, Interim Town Manager, at the Selma Town Hall, 212 North Raiford St, Selma, NC **** on or before 2:00 PM prevailing time, July 1st, 2026.
The award of the contract, if it is awarded, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder whose qualifications indicate the award will be in the best interest of the Town of Selma.
The Town of Selma is seeking specific qualifications related to similar projects for trail planning and design, as well as construction of trails, parking facilities, signage, and other basic site amenities.
No bidder may withdraw his proposal during the ninety 90 day period without forfeiting his bid guarantee.

Questions received less than four 4 business days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
