transceiver based optical pulse generator development platform Item 1: 1. 1 the generator board must include at least quantity four qsfpdd 2. 2 the generator board must include a pcie connector 3. 3 the generator board must include at least two slots for atd least 8 gb of ram each 4. 4 the generator fpga must be from xilinx to enable compatibility with existing programming and have a size equal to or larger than a virtex ultrascale with 26. 5 gbs or faster transceivers connected to the qsfpdd cages 8 transceivers per cage 5. 5 the generator board and fpga must include the capability for fpga clocks to be referenced to an external pps signal and an external 10 mhz clock. 6. 6 communication with the generator fpga must be possible over a usb 2 or 3 connectionrequirements specification document 7. 7 the generator with qsfpdd cages must physically fit inside a standard fullsize pcie slot and all of the qsfpdd cages must be accessible from the front of the slot. 8. 8 the generator must be an established commercial
