The MTV will be rented for one month or a total of thirty days, and the equipment will be requested between September 26 through October. No later than three weeks prior to needing the MTV, the Contracting Officer will call the contractor to coordinate drop-off time for the equipment.
The contractor shall submit an equipment data sheet outlining performance specifications, operating conditions, instruments, and components; an operating manual outlining instructions, safety procedures, and technical information; and documentation ensuring the MTV has received preventative maintenance, displayed through dated records logs. Drivers must be properly licensed, capable of operating heavy machinery, and capable of communicating in English. Drivers must be legally allowed to enter and operate a motor vehicle on a military installation and must always carry proper identification. Drivers must be able to contact business leadership during all hours of operation via cell phone.
If the MTV fails to operate, due to no fault of the customer's utilization, the contractor will not charge the customer during the dwell time when the equipment is inoperable.
