Payment for the work shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the contract documents, with progress payments made monthly and final payment upon completion and acceptance.

The contractor shall guarantee all labor and material used in the performance of this contract for a period of one year from the date of the Oxnard School District's written approval of the completion of all work.

The district intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law.

Each bidder shall submit with its bid proposal a statement of bidders qualifications which is included within the contract documents. Any bid proposal not accompanied by the statement of bidders qualifications completed with all information required and bearing the signature of the bidders duly authorized representative under penalty of perjury will render the bid proposal nonresponsive and rejected.

The contractor shall pay to the Oxnard School District, as fixed and liquidated damages for incalculable damages, the sum of dollars per day for each and every calendar day of delay beyond the contract time or beyond any completion schedule, construction schedule, or project milestones established pursuant to the contract.

There will be a mandatory prebid job walk on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a. m. PT at **** South C Street, Oxnard, CA **** at the entirety of all prebid meetings is required.

Any bidder submitting a bid proposal to the district may file a protest of the districts intent to award the contract provided that the bid protest is in writing and is filed and received by the districts assistant superintendent, business fiscal services not more than five 5 calendar days following the date of issuance of the districts notice of intent to award the contract.

The bid deadline is Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 1:30 p. m. PT. The work shall be commenced on the date stated in the initial notice to proceed and shall be completed within sixty 60 consecutive calendar days from the date stated in the initial notice to proceed, with final completion expected by August 18, 2026.

The contract price is payable in accordance with the contract documents. Progress payments are made monthly, with 95% of the value of work performed paid within 30 days of approval. Final payment is disbursed within 60 days of final acceptance, provided all conditions are met.

The roofing system manufacturer provides a 20-year warranty, and the installer provides a 2-year warranty from the date of completion.

The district intends to award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law.
