Laredo Fire Department Health and Wellness Center - Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit- E- Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids ( i. e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018- O- 175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors.
Repair to health and wellness center Repair existing stucco around the building as needed. Remove all four bay doors, replace the east side bay doors with a 12x8 rolling glass and aluminum garage door and a storefront double glass egress door with panic hardware, replace the west side bay doors with a 12x8 rolling windowless aluminum garage door and a storefront double glass egress door with panic hardware. Any portions of the existing openings not occupied by the new doors shall be infilled and sealed with wood framing, insulation, and stucco to match the existing construction. Remove existing bay doors throughout the building, relocate double doors, remove exterior floor on west breezeway, remove north side windows on gym area and replace with fixed windows of same size. Remove all three windows in cardio room and replace with 3 x 8 fixed windows. Remove and install new exterior tile flooring on west breezeway with 6x6 outdoor quarry tile.
