The bid opening will take place at Keeneyville School District 20, administrative offices, **** Arlington Drive E, Hanover Park, IL **** on May 13th at 3:00 p. m. Bids will be received in the business office, first floor, until 3:00 p. m. on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.

The contract will be awarded by first considering the bidder or bidders most able to provide stability of their service, conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, quality and serviceability, location of facility from which the bidder will operate, and then price as the board deems necessary and appropriate in the best interest of the board, with the lowest bidder to be determined by the three-year cost.

Bidders must be qualified vendors to provide regular education and special education transportation services as designated in this invitation to bid.

If for any reason busco fails to provide an approved bus for any regular route or portion of a regular route, the district will be given a credit of 100% of the route rate for the bus(es) not provided. When a regular route or portion of a regular route is temporarily combined, busco shall forfeit 50% of this base rate for each route or routes affected. A credit of 50% of the regular route rate will be given to the district for each morning portion of a regular route which is completed more than fifteen 15 minutes after the school's starting time and for each afternoon portion of a regular route or an activity route which is started more than fifteen 15 minutes after scheduled departure time, unless the delay is caused by accident or extreme weather conditions or public accidents stopping traffic.

There will be an optional bidders conference on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 2:00 p. m. at the Keeneyville School District 20, administrative offices, **** Arlington Drive E, Hanover Park, IL ****.
