Bids are due on August 26th, 2026, by 4pm.

In evaluating bids, company shall consider the qualifications of the bidders and whether or not the bids comply with the prescribed requirements. Company may consider the qualifications and experience of subcontractors and other persons and organizations including those who are to furnish the principal items of material or equipment proposed for those portions of the work as to which the identity of subcontractors and other persons and organizations must be submitted. Operating costs, maintenance considerations, performance data and guarantees of materials and equipment may also be considered by company.

No bid will be accepted unless the bidder can, if requested, show to the satisfaction of the company evidence of its experience and familiarity with work of the character specified. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 12th, 2026, at 10 am at the Sequoyah Cabins Museum site.

Services shall be performed within 30 days after receiving of notice to proceed. The notice to proceed will establish a date around or about September 30, 2026, on which performance shall start.

Payment will be made by the Financial Management Officer, U. S. Embassy Rangoon. Invoices should be submitted to ***@***. *. * is contingent upon availability of appropriated funds.

Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror.

Offerors must operate an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Myanmar or plan to establish an office within 30 days of contract award. Proof of SAM registration is required. Offerors must demonstrate prior experience with relevant past performance information and references.

Failure to be registered in SAM at the time of proposal submission may deem the offeror's proposal to be considered non-responsible.

The contract maximum is $250,000 USD.
