The project involves replacing wood spillway boxes at the Caw Caw Interpretive Center. The deadline for proposals is January 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET. A site meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET. Written questions are due by January 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET. The contractor must have all necessary licenses and specialized skills. Work is expected to begin on or before April 1, 2026, with substantial completion within 13 weeks (90 work days) from the notice to proceed. The award will be based on technical factors and cost. A performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100 percent of the contract sum, are required.

The proposer has read and understands this solicitation including all attachments in the rfp and that its offer is made in accordance therewith.
The undersigned understands that should he fail to substantially complete work under thiscontract within the time specified hereinbefore, or such later date as may result from an authorized extension of time, he will pay to owner, as liquidated damages, the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars **** for each succeedingcalendar day, saturdays, sundays and holidays included, that the terms of the contract remain unfulfilled, which sum isagreed upon as the proper measure of liquidated damages which owner will sustain per diem by failure of undersignedto complete the work by the time stipulated, and this sum is not to be construed as, in any sense, a penalty.
