Proposals shall be received no later than 11:00 am on October 1, 2026.
The selection criteria used in the awarding contract shall include: qualifications of the individuals who will perform the tasks and the degree of their respective participation, experience and references, ability to perform the task in a timely fashion, cost competitiveness, minimum of 5 years of successful experience in providing similar services to municipalities the size of the city of clifton, senior staff members must be available for emergencies after regular business hours, and other factors the mayor council deem to be in the best interest of the city of clifton and its taxpayers.
Proposer must have five years experience as a broker of record for a public agency and be actively licensed as a new jersey insurance broker for a minimum of five years.
A contractor, subcontractor or supplier who fails to provide proof of business registration or provides false business registration information shall be liable to a penalty of 25 for each day of violation, not to exceed 50,000 for each business registration not properly provided or maintained under a contract with a contracting agency.

Failure to submit the required information in the ownership disclosure statement is cause for automatic rejection of the bid or proposal.
