Sealed proposals for a lidar drone for 3D mapping will be received by the City of Gastonia Engineering Department until 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2025. Bidders must submit a deposit of cash or certified check equal to 5% of the proposal, or a bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract with the city. Bidding documents are available on the city's website. The city reserves the right to reject any proposal for failure to comply with all requirements. The award of any contract will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Technical specifications for the lidar drone are detailed in the bid documents. This RFI seeks information from industry on their capabilities to design, develop, and deliver target payload systems for missile defense testing.
