Performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price are required for contracts of $100,000 or more. Bids are valid for 90 calendar days. Okeechobee County has a local vendor preference policy. Bidders must submit 1 original, 3 hard copies, and 1 electronic copy (PDF on thumb drive) of their bid.

The bidder will provide additional information including, but not limited to, a list of similar projects constructed within the past five 5 years, client references, and, if required, an audited or certified financial statement, other financial references deemed appropriate to contract award.

The meeting will allow prospective bidders to familiarize themselves with existing site conditions, review project requirements, take necessary measurements, and obtain photographs for accurate proposal development.
