Completion date is August 6, 2027. The bidder must state lead times in calendar days from notice to proceed to substantial completion. The bidders total shall allow for college review of the sealed drawings and for permit and inspection activities, and shall support completion by august 6, 2027.
Payment follows the Florida Prompt Payment Act. Payment will be made in accordance with the florida prompt payment act part vii, chapter 218, florida statutes upon receipt of a proper invoice and acceptance of the goods and services. No advance or down payments.
Minimum five-year warranty required. Minimum requirement is a five 5 year warranty covering materials, labor, and workmanship on the pole system and netting. Warranty shall be issued at substantial completion and shall not be conditioned on final payment beyond ordinary acceptance of the work.
Lowest evaluated bid. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest evaluated bid. this is a lowbid award. bids are not scored, and the licensing, references, insurance and fiveyear warranty requirements are passfail minimums.
Must be authorized to do business in Florida, hold required licenses, and have completed at least three comparable sports netting projects. Has successfully completed at least three 3 comparable sports netting installation or replacement projects of similar height, length, scope, and complexity to the work specified in this itb within the last five 5 years, with references.
Mandatory site visit on October 30, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. A mandatory site visit will be held on friday, october 30, 2026 at 9: 00 am et at **** ridge road, new port richey, **** athletic field. bidders must attend to verify pole locations and access for auger, concrete, and boom trucks.
Protests must be filed within 72 hours after posting of notice of intent to award. A bidder who wishes to protest must file a written notice of protest with the director of procurement and auxiliary services within 72 hours after the posting, and a formal written protest within 10 days after filing the notice.
Bids may be rejected for lateness, missing required submittals, not attending mandatory site visit, or not conforming to the six-pole requirement. A bidder that does not attend is nonresponsive. no makeup site visitswill be held. Bids based on more or fewer than six poles will beconsidered nonresponsive.
