Respondents must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the state of Texas. Each employee of respondent, including replacement employees, will possess the qualifications, education, training, experience and certifications necessary to perform the services.
In the event a successful respondent fails to perform services or complete the obligations under the contract in a timely manner, the state may require the respondent to pay, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty, an amount equivalent to 2% of the total cost for services or obligations not completed as required by the contract per calendar day of delay.
Samples, when requested, must be furnished free of expense to TJJD. If not destroyed in examination, they will be returned to the respondent, upon request, at respondent's expense.
Failure to sign the bid will disqualify the bid. Late and/or unsigned bids will not be considered. Copyrighted bids are unacceptable and are subject to disqualification as nonresponsive.
