The tender is for on-call services for the Molokai irrigation system. The work may include installation of irrigation water service laterals, meters, and meter boxes; removal of trees; removal of sediment and debris; repair/replacement of gate valves; locating and repairing leaking pipelines; installation/repair/replacement of chain link fencing; troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of pumps; and hauling/disposal of illegally dumped materials. Bidders must possess a valid state contractors license, classification A. The state reserves the right to purchase larger or smaller quantities at the quoted price. Each invoice must specify the name of the person issuing the invoice, the title of the project and purchase order number, an itemized breakdown of materials and delivered, and a copy of signed delivery slips. The state has 30 calendar days after receipt of invoice or satisfactory delivery to make payment. Liquidated damages are fixed at **** for each calendar day the contractor delays in the completion of any item of the contract after the required date of completion. A protest must be submitted in writing within five working days after the aggrieved person knows or should have known of the facts giving rise thereto. All material given to or made available to the contractor by virtue of this contract, which is identified as proprietary or confidential information, will be safeguarded by the contractor and shall not be disclosed to any individual or organization without the prior written approval of the state.
