Oakland University is seeking proposals for a pricing study to inform tuition, housing, and financial aid strategies. The selected vendor will conduct research, analyze data, and provide recommendations for various student segments. Proposals are due July 20, 2026. Proposals must be received by July 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
The university's preferred payment method is with a university credit card (PCard). The university will not accept convenience fees or increased pricing due to PCard payment.
Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, expertise, modeling capabilities, consulting support, proven results, data privacy, security, FERPA compliance, coordination ability, and cost, with the goal of selecting the best value proposal.
Proposals should demonstrate experience working with public, regional universities, expertise in price sensitivity methodologies, cohort and program-level pricing differentiation and modeling, ability to integrate data, strength in predictive modeling and scenario simulation, and high-quality consulting support.
Services not conforming to specifications may not be accepted at the firm's expense. Services not provided in accordance with the scope of services may result in the firm being found in default, and all procurement costs may be charged against the firm.
Failure to submit information in accordance with RFP requirements, failure to comply with specifications, or proposing to firms that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise determined ineligible may lead to disqualification.
