Evacuation Alarm Government Bids & RFPs

The government intends to award a firm fixed price ffp contract based on a best value tradeoff analysis.

In phase one, the government will issue a phase one solicitation to evaluate technical qualifications and identify the most highly qualified offerors.

If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.

All contractor and subcontractor personnel performing work under this contract must be citizens of the United States.

The target price for the anticipated project is between 35,500,000 and 50,500,000.

Proposals are due by September 4, 2026, at 10:00 am Weld County purchasing time clock.

The contract specifies that Weld County will pay the contractor upon successful completion and acceptance of the work, not to exceed the agreed-upon amount. Payments are contingent on appropriated funds.

Contractor warrants that the work performed will be consistent with professional construction standards and provisions of the agreement. All work is subject to a warranty period of one year after final inspection and acceptance, or longer if specified.

The award will be based on Best Value, considering price and other key factors such as quality and expertise.

Proposals will be evaluated based on understanding of project objectives, proposed methodology, critical issues and solutions, project schedule, work location familiarity, and cost. References from similar projects are required.

The contract states that failure to comply with standards and requirements within prescribed time limits may result in Weld County's decision to withhold payment or terminate the agreement.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 17, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Chase Building main lobby, located at 822 7th Street, Greeley, CO **** must participate to be eligible.

Proposals may be rejected if they are late, unsigned, incomplete, or fail to follow specified response formats and instructions.

Proposals are due by 12pm local time on September 1, 2026.

A minimum one 1 year material and labor warranty shall be provided. During warranty period, contractor shall perform all inspection, testing, and maintenance required by NFPA 72 chapter 14 at no cost to the owner.

The award will be based on a combination of factors including firm qualifications and experience (30 points), project management (10 points), execution plan (30 points), contractor location (5 points), and cost (25 points).

Designers shall hold state of Alaska fire systems class IC or ICDO certification. Installers shall hold state of Alaska fire systems class IB certification. Contractor shall have a minimum of five 5 years cumulative experience in technical documentation, installation, and testing of fire alarm systems in high rise buildings.

A site visit is scheduled for 10am local time on August 13, 2026, at 632 W. 6th Avenue, Anchorage, AK **** at the security desk inside the first floor.

Failure to sign the proposal is grounds for rejection. Late submissions will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
