Request for Information ( RFI) for tactical gear and equipment for the U. S. Department of Energy, Office of Secure Transportation. Attachment 1 provides a list of items that should be initially available during this contract ( approved product list, or APL). The minimum acceptable ordering threshold will be 100k in the base year on the first task order over the life of the contract, and the maximum is hereby established at 19 million over the life of the contract. This list is based on recent purchases of OST from multiple vendors and includes equipment considered to be core equipment required for the successful execution of OST protective TSS missions. Multiple brands/ models of similar items are included to meet availability requirements and the needs/ requirements of various participating sections. The APL will be provided by the OST to the awardee contractor prior to the system going live.
