Laredo Fire Department Health and Wellness Center - Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit- E- Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids ( i. e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018- O- 175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors.

Repair to Laredo Fire Department Health and Wellness Center Repair all around existing old stucco, remove double doors and relocate about 5 ft exterior wall going to the gym and remove window and close opening completely. Two bay doors will be removed, and opening will be sealed off adding wall same material as existing building, stucco and insulation and adding 8foot glass double doors for entry with push bar for exit opening outward. On the other 2 bays doors, we will need to replace them with a 16ft x 8ft insulated glass garage door. Work includes demolition, debris removal, floor removal/installation, new exterior tile flooring on west breezeway, adding cement slab on exterior north side, and installing an exterior light fixture.
