The US Coast Guard is seeking bids for the replacement of an automatic transfer switch (ATS) at Base Los Angeles Long Beach. The project requires the safe removal and disposal of the existing ATS, installation of a new ATS, testing, commissioning, and training. Bidders must be registered with SAM. gov. A site visit is required. The contractor must provide a list of personnel 5 days prior to commencing work. The work must be performed between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, unless otherwise approved. The contractor must provide a breakdown of price for ATS replacement. The emergency generator is a Cummins Onan model OT225. The current ATS is Cummins Onan OT 225, rated at 225 amps and 480 volts. The replacement ATS shall be capable of monitoring both power sources, signals generator set startup, automatically transfer power, and returns the load to the primary power source once stable utility power is available. Must include a 12-month warranty and disposal plan for old equipment. Past performance and certified statement of lead time is required in addition to a pricing schedule sheet.
