This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for a wireless communications innovation project at the 418th Flight Test Squadron (418 FLTS), Edwards Air Force Base, CA. The project aims to improve airborne communications by developing a self-contained, portable wireless communication network that can be carried on or off aircraft and connect all members of the test team. Key requirements include using existing **** Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth protocols with a minimum range of 30 meters, being self-powered by batteries for at least 30 minutes (60 minutes desired) and capable of plugging into 115VAC wall power, utilizing commercial VoIP software supporting at least 32 connected devices, and integrating with the aircraft's existing intercom system. The contractor must provide all hardware and software design specifications for airworthiness and cybersecurity approvals, ship two copies of the system for ground checkouts, and be available for on-site troubleshooting and tuning during flight tests. The contractor must also coordinate initial design within 90 days of award, with the build and delivery of two copies within 90 days thereafter.
