Sealed bids are requested for 4 2026 4x4 white Chevy Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicles. Bids are due by 11:00 a. m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Finance Office, City Hall, 270 S. River Avenue, Holland, Michigan. Bids must be on the provided form, in a sealed envelope marked Police Tahoe Vehicle Bid. Bids are net, F. O. B. Holland, Michigan, and irrevocable for 30 days. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering price and local business preference. Standard warranty applies. Delivery information will be a consideration in the award. Bidders can submit bids for 2026 or 2027 model years. Pre-delivery servicing and inspection are required. Acceptance inspection will be made by department heads or representatives.

All vehicles and equipment furnished and/or supplied under this bid request are to carry the standard warranty that is offered to the general public.
Contracts and purchase orders shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, in addition to price, the items set forth in section 248 award of contracts and purchases and section **** preference for local biddersholland based businesses of the ordinance code of the city of holland shall be considered.
In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the city shall consider: the bidders ability, capacity and skill to perform the contract; the character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience and efficiency of the bidder; the bidders previous and existing compliance with contracts, purchase orders or service; the bidders previous and existing compliance with laws and ordinances relating to contracts, purchase orders or services; the sufficiency of the financial resources of the bidder to perform the contract or provide the supplies, materials, equipment or services; the availability and adaptability of the supplies, materials, equipment or contractual services to the particular use required; the bidders ability to provide future maintenance and service for the use of the subject of the contract; the number and/or scope of conditions attached to the bid by the bidder; the brand, make or type of product being proposed by the bidder, and its compatibility with other similar materials or equipment currently owned and operated by the city.
In case of default by the selected vendor, the city of holland may procure its requirements from another vendor, without going through additional bidding procedures, and hold the original vendor liable for any increased costs.
