This is a firm-fixed-price contract for the replacement of windows phase III at the Birmingham VA Medical Center. The project includes demolition and removal of existing structures. The period of performance is 491 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) only. Offerors must be registered in SAM. gov and vetcert. sba. gov. Requests for information (RFIs) are due by May 29, 2026. Proposals are due by June 30, 2026. The award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Payment for stored materials is subject to FAR **** and VA policies, e. g. , off-site storage approvals, title vesting.
Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for nonprice factors, using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
To be eligible for award, the offeror must be registered at SAM. gov with completed electronic annual representations and certifications and vetcert. sba. gov, and must comply with **** federal contractor veterans employment report requirements.
