The City of Claremont is seeking proposals from qualified planning, architecture, or urban design firms to develop objective design standards (ODS) for multifamily and mixed-use residential development. The ODS will replace or supplement existing discretionary design guidelines. RFP issued June 23, 2025. Request for clarification deadline July 7, 2025. Proposal due date July 24, 2025, no later than 5:30 PM. Consultant interviews week of August 4, 2025. Selection decision by week of August 11, 2025. Anticipated award and kickoff meeting week of August 18, 2025. Proposals must be submitted on **** double-sided paper in 12-point font. Four original, bound hardcopy proposals with each section tabbed, and one electronic copy are required. Proposals must include a cover letter, project understanding and approach, scope of work and timeline, consultants prior experience qualifications, consultant team, references, cost proposal, acceptance of conditions, litigation, and insurance. The city reserves the right to waive or modify any of these deadlines prior to the opening of the submitted proposals by a duly noticed addendum. The city reserves the right to consider minor deviations from the scope of work and determine the acceptance or rejection of such deviation. The city reserves the right to seek supplementary information from any proposer at any time after the submittal deadline and before the award. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and may select, and negotiate with one or more proposers concurrently, and enter into an agreement with such proposer who is determined by the city to provide the services that are in the best interest of the city. All documents provided by proposers shall become public record and subject to disclosure. Prior to beginning any work under this proposal, the selected proposer shall secure and maintain the appropriate business license from the city of Claremont.

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is seeking expressions of interest for professional engineering services to design repairs and/or replacement of bridge bearings and bolsters, and deteriorated structural steel. Qualified firms must be prequalified in profile code A092. Expressions of interest are due by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The authority will utilize a secure file sharing site (Kiteworks) and will publicly open the submitted proposals via conference call on the submission closing date. Additional information, including submission requirements, procurement information, scope of services, staffing estimates, and project schedules, is available in attachments. The deadline for written inquiries is June 30, 2025, and responses will be posted on the authority's website by July 2, 2025. The final selection will be made based on numerical scores using eight rating factors and relative weights. The total projected construction budget is approximately $22 million.
