The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a cost plus fixed fee (CPFF) and cost plus incentive fee (CPIF) order for non-recurring engineering work related to an electromagnetic aircraft launch system electrical isolation solution for Ford-class carriers. The work will be performed in San Diego, California; Tupelo, Mississippi; and Lakehurst, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed in January 2029.

This is a sole-source acquisition for a foreign policy journal subscription (FP Insider) for Department of Defense libraries. The justification for sole-source is that FP Insider is the exclusive provider of the required content and cannot be obtained elsewhere. Market research was conducted, and a sources sought notice was posted on SAM. gov, but only the incumbent responded. The contracting officer has determined the price is fair and reasonable, based on previous procurements and comparison to price lists.

This notice is for the repair of aircraft hydraulic, vacuum, and de icing system components. The repair must be performed according to FAR part 12 commercial procedures. The solicitation for the repair of vacuum pump assemblies is extended to August 22, 2025. The repair turnaround time (RTAT) is 118 days after receipt of the asset. The contractor must provide a throughput constraint for each National Stock Number (NSN). Early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred. The assembly configuration is known to the government and currently in use. Alternative assemblies are not authorized unless approved by the cognizant government contracting agency. The vendor must provide all equipment and personnel necessary for the repair process. A data sheet outlining the fault, repair, and final quality assurance card must be provided prior to shipment. All other documentation must comply with applicable contract documents. The first submission is upon submission of a test sample, and subsequent submissions upon completion of the contract.

This notice outlines the terms and conditions for a prototype follow-on production agreement. The contractor must comply with various requirements, including inspection acceptance at Arnold Air Force Base, TN, and potential for repair/replacement of non-conforming items. Payment terms are net 30 days for accepted items. The government reserves the right to terminate the agreement for convenience or cause.
