Bids are requested for traffic sign posts and related items. Electronic bid submission is preferred via RMPS. Questions are due by June 17, 2026. Bid opening is on June 25, 2026. The city reserves the right to award on an individual item/group or total bid basis. Prices must be held firm for 90 days. The contract may be extended for up to four additional one-year periods. Vendors must be licensed and secure necessary permits. Payment terms are Net 30.
Delivery of materials must be made in a flatbed trailer for forklift unloading, with 24-hour notice prior to delivery. The goods agreement specifies delivery to the City of Fort Collins, 625 Ninth Street, Fort Collins, CO ****, attention Rich Brewbaker, no later than a date to be specified in the agreement.
The city pays invoices on net 30 terms. The city pays undisputed invoices on net 30 days from the date of the invoice submittal to the city or, for disputed invoices, net 30 days from the date of city project managers approval.
The provider warrants all equipment, materials, labor, and other work against defects and nonconformances in design, materials, and workmanship for a period of two 2 years and/or the original manufacturer's warranty, whichever is longer, from the date of delivery. Bidders must submit a completed bid submittal form, including a bid schedule and experience references list, providing documentation of at least three 3 reference projects. Failure to submit any of the required items may result in the bid being considered nonresponsive.
Failure to enter into contract or honor the purchase order after bids have been accepted and closing has occurred will be cause for removal from the city of Fort Collins bidders list for twelve months, and the city may pursue other remedies.
Submitting bids through RMPS may need additional time for completion. Bids not submitted by the designated opening date and time will not be accepted by the system. Failure to submit any of the required bid submittal form items may result in the bid being considered nonresponsive.
