This is a public tender notice from Steuben County for the supply of gas well pipe for installation. Payment shall be made after all work has been completed and subsequently inspected and approved by the commissioner of public works or his designee. All claims and invoices must be accompanied by appropriate receipts and/or weigh slips, signed and dated by an authorized member of the Steuben County staff.
For the purposes of this bid and subsequent awards, it is intended that awards be made to the lowest total extended line-item price bid. Awards shall only be made to bids submitted by qualified, responsive, and responsible bidders who sufficiently meet the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein. However, Steuben County reserves the right to determine awards/awardees in accordance with the best interest of Steuben County.
Each bidder is required to include general history (name, address, telephone number, contact person, hours of operation, relevant information), references (owners or managers of sites where bidder has successfully completed similar projects), and a list of major equipment that will be utilized to successfully complete this project with its bid submittal.
The awardee shall pay the county three hundred dollars (****) for each and every calendar day that expires beyond the time period stated herein as liquidated damages for delay.
Failure to detail all deviations from specifications will comprise sufficient grounds for rejection of the entire bid. Bids submitted without complying with the Iranian energy sector divestment certification requirements may not be considered for award, unless specific exemptions are met.
