The U. S. Embassy in Bogotá is seeking quotations for technology equipment. The place of performance is Popayán, Cauca, Colombia. Quotes must be submitted via email no later than July 14, 2025, 4:00 PM local Bogotá time. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Questions must be received by the government no later than July 2, 2025, 4:00 PM local Bogotá time. Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order. The contract is a firm-fixed-price purchase order payable entirely in Colombian pesos (COP) for Colombian firms and US dollars (USD) for US firms. The price includes all direct and indirect costs, overhead, general, and administrative expense, profit, shipping/delivery charges, insurance, assembly, etc. The government will not adjust the contract price due to fluctuations in the cost of contract performance or due to fluctuations in exchange rates. The contractor will not be reimbursed VAT or IVA under this contract. The installation and configuration of items will be performed at the CNP department command in Popayán, Cauca. The contractor will make a site visit to verify the existing conditions and coordinate the configuration. The period of performance is 50 days. All persons involved in the training and delivery of these items/services in Colombia must adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols in effect from the government of Colombia at the time of delivery or training.
