Onondaga County is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of manholes in the collection system to extend infrastructure life and reduce infiltration/inflow. Bids are due July 30, 2026. Work includes sealing manhole bases, walls, joints, raising frames, and replacing covers with watertight ones. A 3-year warranty is required. Bidders must register on the supplier portal. All bids must be submitted electronically or in paper form by the deadline. Late bids are not accepted.
Work identified in a task order shall be completed within sixty 60 calendar days unless otherwise directed by onondaga county or a designated representative.
Payment will be made upon compliance with the following: 1 Prior issuance of a purchase order by the division of purchase within the scope and limits of the contract for the work material being invoiced 2 Full and faithful performance delivery of the work material authorized by such purchase order 3 Acceptance of the work material by county's duly authorized designee 4 Receipt of vendor invoices within the limits of such previously authorized purchase order. 5 Receipt of certified payrolls pursuant to the NYS labor law where applicable.
All work shall be fully guaranteed by the contractor for a period of three 3 years from the date of final acceptance unless otherwise stipulated in writing by the owner prior to the date of conditional acceptance.
Award shall be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Bidder must submit a properly completed and executed bid form with certification, noncollusion certification, certification of no conflict of interest or detrimental effect, Iranian divestment certification, prevention of sexual harassment certification, and completed form W9. If applicable, specialty subcontractor listing and MWBE/EEO utilization plan are also required.
Failure to deliver as specified may result in termination of the contract and may further disqualify your firm from receiving future contracts for at least two years.
This request for bid does not require a prebid meeting and site tour. Bidders are required to satisfy themselves, by personal examination of the site as to work involved and of the difficulties likely to be encountered.
Samples are required to be furnished by the bidder at the request of the purchasing director. Samples are to be furnished at no cost to the county.
Protests of companies, products or services being offered from competing bidders must be made within 3 days of bid opening, in writing, to the director of the division of purchase.
