Sewer Jetting Government Bids & RFPs

The work shall be delivered to the following work site: the location of sewers to be cleaned, televised, or root cut during the contract term shall be designated by the village.

The contract price is subject to any additions, deductions, or withholdings provided for in this contract.

Contractor warrants that the work and all of its components shall be free from defects and flaws in design, workmanship, and materials shall strictly conform to the requirements of this contract.

The final selection of the successful bidder shall be made on the basis of the amount of the bidders price proposals, owner's prior experience with the bidders, owner's knowledge of the bidders performance on other relevant projects, any additional information submitted by bidders to satisfy owner that bidders are adequately prepared to fulfill the contract, and all other relevant facts or matters mentioned in the bid package or that owner may legally consider in making its determination.

Owner intends to award the contract only to a bidder that furnishes satisfactory evidence that it has the requisite experience, ability, capital, facilities, plant, organization and staffing to enable it to perform the work successfully and promptly and to complete the work for the contract price and within the contract time.

If a bidder fails to timely submit all additional information requested by owner, or if the successful bidder fails to timely and properly submit all required bonds, certificates and policies of insurance, or if the successful bidder fails to timely and properly execute the contract, the contractors certification, and all other required documentation related to the contract, it will be difficult and impracticable to ascertain and determine the amount of damage that owner will sustain by reason of any such failure.

Each prospective bidder shall inspect in detail the work site and the surrounding area and shall familiarize itself with all local conditions, including subsurface, underground and other concealed conditions, affecting the contract, the work and the work site.

No more than one bidders proposal for the work described in the contract shall be considered from any single corporation, partnership, individual or joint venture, whether under the same or different names and whether or not in conjunction with any other corporation, partnership, individual or joint venture.

Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pmon thursday, september 17, 2026, prevailing local time, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read.

Payment shall be made following completion, inspection, and acceptance of the work by the city. The city's payment terms are net 30 unless otherwise specified in the contract.

Bids will be evaluated and awarded on the following basis as marked: lowest bid price or lowest evaluated bid price.

Bidders shall provide operator qualification manuals, operations and procedures manuals, dot drug testing manuals, and multiple references demonstrating experience performing similar natural gas related work.

If the successful bidders fails to perform the services in accordance with the bid documents, the city may: require corrective action withhold payment for unsatisfactory performance terminate the contract in whole or in part procure equipment or services from another source and hold the contractor responsible for any additional costs

Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive.

Terms of payment shall be net thirty 30 days from receipt of acceptable invoice and/or acceptance of conforming goods, whichever is later.

Seller warrants that it has good and merchantable title to the goods sold hereunder and that said goods shall conform to the descriptions and applicable specifications and samples.

The quote will be awarded to that responsible, responsive vendor whose quote, conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the gcrc with not only price but also availability of product, location and quality of product service considered.

A prospective bidder must affirmatively demonstrate bidders responsibility, including having adequate financial resources and a satisfactory record of performance.

bidders aggrieved by the award of any solicitation or resulting contract, may file a written notice of protest with the purchasing administrator within sever 7 calendar days of award.

If successful bidder defaults by failing to supply bonds and/or certificate of insurance within the ten 10 day period allotted, award shall pass to the next lowest bidder.
