The HSI system is designed for measuring spectral signatures of gaseous clouds and solid samples in real-time, under field conditions, without the need for liquid nitrogen or external cooling devices. The system must operate in outdoor environmental conditions from 20 degrees Fahrenheit to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
