Junk Yard Government Bids & RFPs

Bids are due in the PO box on August 12, 2026 at 3:00pm.

Contractors must be licensed with the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and provide a copy of their current license. Vendors must have a current solid waste hauling license for each applicable county.

Proposals not submitted in the specified manner (mailed to PO Box, no FedEx/UPS to PO Box, no hand-delivered items to post office) will be rejected. The band reserves the right to reject any bid unable to be collected by the deadline.

Proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM local time on August 13, 2026.

Payment will be made monthly upon receipt of the contractor's billing statement and progress reports, within 10 business days of approval of documentation and invoice.

Selection will be based on the highest scoring qualified RFP, proof of meeting minimum qualifications, clear understanding of scope of services, and evidence of an ethical and reliable operation with satisfactory past performance and sufficient resources.

Upon issue of a Statement of Work (SOW), services should be completed within 15 calendar days but no more than 30 calendar days, unless a reasonable delay is caused by permitting.

Invoices must be submitted within 14 calendar days of completion of service. Payments are normally made within 30 days following the date an accurate invoice is received.

The warranty period for goods and/or services will be at least twelve 12 months from acceptance or delivery. Contractors' employees will have the necessary certifications and qualifications to perform services competently.

Quoters are required to have the applicable license as indicated in the service description table and must complete a quote certification form. Vendors must also ensure their employees and subcontractors are not debarred, suspended, or excluded from participating in federal health care programs.

Contractors who do not timely meet the program requirements will be removed from the program. Failure by a contractor to timely meet program requirements may result in termination of the contract.

The careoregon team will request contractors/vendors to complete a site visit in order to develop a quote based on contemplated services.

Communication in violation of restrictions may result in rejection of a quoter. Failure to comply with all requirements may result in quote rejection. Providing incorrect or incomplete information may be cause for rejection of the quote or contract termination.
