Submittals must be received before 2:00 p. m. Central Time on July 15, 2026. Submittal must be received by the Texas AM University System Office of Procurement and Hub Program before the date and time specified for receipt of submittal as stated within section 2. 4 of this RFQ.

The member identified in the order form will pay the amount due to the provider based on a fee rate schedule. Invoices must reference the order form and include a description of services provided. Payment will be made in accordance with the Texas Prompt Payment Act. The member will make payment on a properly prepared and submitted invoice in accordance with chapter ****, Texas Government Code the Texas Prompt Payment Act. . .

The selection will be based on demonstrated competence, knowledge, and qualifications, offering the greatest benefits, experience, and value to the AM System. The respondents selected will be the one whos experience and qualifications, as presented in response to this RFQ, establish them, in the opinion of AM System, as well qualified and offering the greatest benefits, experience and value to AM System. . .

Respondents must demonstrate expertise and qualifications for construction materials testing services, including specific certifications, licenses, and experience with state of Texas public higher education facility projects. Respondents shall carefully read the information contained in the following criteria and submit a complete statement of qualifications to all items.

If a determination is made that the vendor failed to implement the subcontracting plan in good faith, the AM System may bar the vendor from further contracting opportunities. per Texas Government Code ****, if a determination is made that the vendor failed to implement the plan in good faith, the AM System, in addition to any other remedies, may bar the vendor from further contracting opportunities with the AM System.

Failure to comply with all requirements, including page limits and submission format, may result in disqualification. Negative responses from reference checks may also be grounds for disqualification. Failure to comply with all requirements contained in this request for qualifications may result in the rejection of the submittal.

All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. The response deadline is 6/19/2026 at 02:00 PM CT.

Payment of the lump sum price and payment of the unit price times the actual quantity of work performed shall constitute full payment for performance of the work and covers all costs of whatever nature incurred by contractor in accomplishing the work in accordance with the provisions of the contract.

Award will not necessarily be made to the low bidder. The city will be permitted to consider cost, along with other factors, such as references from current or previous clients which include past performance and quality and capability of service, to the extent permitted by law, in determining the bid in the best interests of the utility.

The city of ames is accepting bids from qualified vendors for geotechnical services.

The response to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted no later than 20 May 2026 at 8:00 AM PT.

Responders must include: business name and address, name of company representative and their business title, business size and type of small business if applicable, CAGE code, Unique Entity ID, and a capability statement.

The purpose of this work is to obtain a representative subgrade soil sample of the existing subgrade and perform all necessary testing.

The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Not responding to the RFI does not preclude participation in any further RFQ, if issued.
