Sealed bids are due by July 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM for asbestos, lead, and microbial air & bulk sampling with analysis for 2026. A mandatory bidders conference and site visit is scheduled for July 14, 2026. Bidders must comply with state finance law sections 139j and 139k regarding communications. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. Samples may be required. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. The contract period is 5 years with possible extensions. All bids must be F. O. B. destination and include delivery within doors.
Sealed bids must be returned by 2:00 p. m. by the date indicated on the bid. Any bid received after 2:00 pm will not be accepted.
If no discount is shown, payment terms will be net 90 days. Cash discounts of percent will be allowed for prompt payment within 30, 60, or 90 days.
The successful bidder warrants the equipment furnished against defects in design, workmanship, and materials for one year from the date of acceptance.
Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. Cash discounts will not be a factor in determining awards, except in tie bids.
The bidder must be prepared to present evidence of experience, ability, and financial standing, as well as a statement as to plant, machinery, and capacity.
Failure to deliver within the time specified may result in the purchase of items from other sources at the vendor's expense.
A mandatory bidders conference and walk-through will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. Attendance at both locations is required to bid.
Samples, when required, must be submitted strictly in accordance with instructions, otherwise the bid may not be considered. If requested subsequent to bid opening, they shall be delivered within five 5 days.
Any objections to the terms of this sealed bid must be presented in writing within ten calendar days of the release of the solicitation or the date the objector knows or should have known the basis for its objection.
Failure to abide by mandatory instructions, including those related to procurement requirements and site visits, may be grounds for disqualification.
