DOIT Innovation and Technology is seeking to increase a piggyback contract with Gartner, Inc. for procurement acquisition support services by $2,500,000 and extend the contract until October 31, 2025. The change is due to the agency's unsuccessful attempt to solicit proposals for these services through a small business set-aside solicitation, and the agency's plan to leverage a participation contract through NASPO. The current contract has 14 ongoing projects, with only 2 expected to be completed by the original end date. The agency will only allow for the completion of ongoing projects under the current contract and no releases to begin new projects will be permitted. The original contract was previously extended from **** to **** and the state of Illinois extended the piggyback in the amount of 1,500,000 to align with this term.
