Weld County is seeking bids for county-wide document destruction services. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 12, 2026. Bids are due July 8, 2026, by 10:00 am. The primary award criterion is low price. Vendors must be NAID AAA certified and participate in the Colorado Bureau of Investigations CJIS Vendor Management Program. Services include routine onsite shredding, purge projects, and media destruction. Secure collection containers and certificates of destruction will be provided. The initial contract term is August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with potential for three one-year renewals.

County agrees to pay contractor an amount not to exceed as set forth in the exhibits. No payment in excess of that set forth in the exhibits will be made by county unless a change order authorizing such additional payment has been specifically approved by Weld County.
Contractor warrants that the work performed under this agreement will be performed in a manner consistent with the standards governing such services and the provisions of this agreement. Contractor further represents and warrants that all work shall be performed by qualified personnel in a professional manner, consistent with industry standards, and that all services will conform to applicable specifications.
Low price is the key consideration by Weld County in awarding an IFB contract.
Contractor must have at the time of bid submission and maintain a National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) AAA certification. Contractor must be a participating member of the Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CJIS) Vendor Management Program. Vendor must provide three references where similar business was conducted in the past 2 years. Vendor must not have had any litigation or bond claims within the last 5 years. Successful vendor must have previous industry experience of at least 5 years.
Failure to maintain the insurance policies as required by this agreement or to provide evidence of renewal is a material breach of contract. If contractor fails to comply with the unauthorized alien provision, county may terminate this agreement for breach, and if so terminated, contractor shall be liable for actual and consequential damages.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Facilities Building located at, **** H Street Greeley, CO **** must participate and record their presence at the pre-bid conference to be eligible to submit bids.
Late or unsigned bids shall not be accepted or considered. Failure to include any of the required items upon submittal of your bid may result in your bid being incomplete, nonresponsive, and your bid being rejected. If there are any exclusions or contingencies submitted with your bid it may be disqualified.
